There
are occasions when a parish council may require an indpendent
investigation over and beyond the normal course of an internal audit.
This may be due to a specific problem, such the identification of a
cash shortage, or it may be a desire of a council to conduct a value
for money review of a particular area of activity.
We
have significant experience of conducting irregularity investigations
and of
preparing supporting evidence for potential disciplinary of legal
action. We can also assist in conducting financial reviews of Council
activities and provide an independent expert opinion.
